I feel more depressed
Each day when I awake

My darling son was taken
From his mothers love
To live with the angels

I did not have him with me

The pain of losing my son

People tell me that time is a healer
That the pain will go away
They don’t understand
That this pain is here to stay

For when you lose a child
There is nothing that can compare
The bond we had at their birth
Will never leave, it’s always there

The love a mother has
Runs so very deep
That love is so special
It’s in her heart to keep

A mother’s heart is broken
She is ripped apart inside
There is a part of her missing
It left when her child died

So please don’t tell me to get over it
For this I can not do
Unless you understand my feelings
And this has happened to you

Only another mother who has lost a child
Can understand my pain
Because the also suffer daily
As the memories of their child remain

We are a band of mothers
Whose hearts will never heal?

James was a good guy to meet calm and down to earth didnt care what you looked like what you were into he would talk to you. More than likely have a drink with you. It wont b the same without u. C yae efter mate.

james alistair thompson born 9th march 1989 to james and joyce. never a better baby and toddler would you find no crying during the night no temper tantrums, just a big cheesy happy grin, used to joke were going to pay for this when hes a teenager. shaved his hair when he was three years old and a neighbour called him fred after the band right said fred because they were all bald the name stuck with him. i hated it because u would see his name wrote all over glasgow when he became a teenager, and he definatley got around that is evident by the many young people who new him. james was a typical teenager got himself into scrapes and didnt always make the right decisions but his family and his pals meant the world to him. sadly i never embraced his pals for that i am now truly sorry but i can only try to keep james memory alive through them, james lived for weekends with his pals and i never realised it but he crammed a lot into his short life. james was blessed with a brother jordan in 1995 he doted on that boy and would have protected him with his life they were typical brothers jordan winding him up james taking the huff me giving them into trouble them sticking up for each other. james was a kind and thoughtful boy and had a heart of gold he was great with kids, but that wasnt cool at his age he would have made a wonderful father one day but that chance has been taken from him, the day james was so cowardly taken from us on the 20th august 2007 is the blackest day of our life he fought so hard in the hospital to live just like he had done his whole life but the journey was just too much for him, he has left a huge hole that can never be filled we wonder how well enjoy xmas, birthdays hoildays or just day to day life without him i would give my life for him to be able to walk through the door give me some lip or just that cheeky smile he had or for a thursday when i was his best pal because it was nearly friday and hed be looking for money for the weekend. we can only hope now that he is in a better place and he is safe we all love and miss you so much son wish i could just tell you that once more miss having someone to have a good argument with, we were two peas in a pod as stubborn as each other. sleep tight my precious boy keep smiling and ill see u soon
